Florida Poll: Trump’s Puerto Rican Support Soars!

A recent poll by Signal Polling and Analytics has uncovered a dramatic shift in support for former President Donald Trump among Puerto Rican Americans in Florida. Conducted from October 26-28, the survey highlights significant movement within the Puerto Rican demographic — a group Trump lost by a wide margin in 2020 — now tipping toward him. This change follows Trump’s rally at Madison Square Garden, which seems to have sparked enthusiasm among Latino voters, including a noticeable surge among Puerto Rican Americans.

For Republicans, these numbers are striking. Trump, who garnered less than 35% of the Puerto Rican vote in Florida in 2020, is now polling two points ahead among Puerto Rican American voters, signaling a powerful shift. Additionally, the poll revealed that Trump is leading by a 10-point margin among Latino voters across the board. Such gains could prove critical in a state like Florida, where Latino voters represent a substantial and influential voting bloc.

However, despite this, Trump’s numbers among Puerto Rican voters continue to rise, suggesting the joke had little to no adverse effect on the former president’s favorability with the demographic.
