Adding fuel to the mystery, witnesses reported seeing two unmarked black SUVs circling the area roughly 45 minutes before the helicopter’s arrival. TikTok user “megsbacn,” a veteran volunteer assisting in local security efforts, shared her eyewitness account of the unsettling event.
“This evening at approximately 7:18 in Burnsville, NC, an unmarked helicopter flew in and attempted to destroy the distribution area that was set up by locals for locals while I was conducting a K9 Security Round,” she posted on social media.
