Dems Hide 218,000 Noncitizen Voters?

In a bold move to protect election integrity, America First Legal (AFL) has filed a lawsuit against Arizona Secretary of State Adrian Fontes and his office on behalf of the Strong Communities Foundation of Arizona, known as EZAZ.org. The lawsuit seeks to force the release of a list of more than 218,000 individuals who registered to vote in Arizona without providing proof of citizenship, a key requirement under state law. AFL announced the legal action in a press release on Thursday.

Under Arizona law, the Secretary of State’s office is responsible for ensuring that voter registration rolls are accurate and that all registered voters have provided the necessary proof of citizenship. However, a recent “flaw” in the system, first uncovered by Maricopa County Recorder Stephen Richer, has called into question the legitimacy of thousands of voter registrations. On September 6, 2024, Richer identified the flaw that allowed tens of thousands of individuals to register to vote without presenting proper documentation of their citizenship status.

This revelation came to light when Richer filed an emergency petition with the Arizona Supreme Court on September 17. In his filing, Richer disclosed that Secretary Fontes had confirmed the existence of 97,928 registered voters who were incorrectly marked as having provided proof of citizenship, despite no such documentation being submitted. This led to growing concerns about the integrity of Arizona’s voter rolls.
