Strenger, in character, declared that he and his wife were in a polyamorous relationship, with his wife’s lover being a black man. He claimed this relationship had enlightened him to the struggles of people of color, a statement so absurd that it highlighted the ridiculousness of identity politics. He continued to mockingly “support” Kamala Harris by praising her for supposedly embodying the values of diversity, equity, and inclusion, all while using progressive pronouns to describe himself.
In a scathing parody of Democratic rhetoric, Strenger mocked the party’s hatred for President Trump and their unwavering support for policies rooted in DEI (Diversity, Equity, Inclusion). He took a final dig at Kamala Harris by feigning support for her economic policies, specifically her desire to impose price controls. Strenger sarcastically argued that these controls, even if they led to food shortages and rationing, would somehow lead to a more equitable society—a clear jab at the impracticality of such policies.
The BBC reporter, seemingly oblivious to Strenger’s satire, treated the entire interaction as a serious interview. This added another layer of humor to the situation, as Strenger’s over-the-top performance could easily be mistaken for genuine enthusiasm in the current political climate.
In the exchange, Strenger said: “My Name is Noah Schwartz, I use he/they pronouns. I’m just like really excited that we have, like, the first black woman who could be the president of the United States.”
He continued, “And you know my wife, right, we’re in a polyamorous relationship. The lover my wife took is African-American. And like I’ve learned so much about the struggle of people of color go through as a result of my wife’s boyfriend. And so I’m really excited to do my part. So solidarity to my marginalized community.”
Strenger didn’t stop there. When asked by the reporter about his excitement for Joe Biden, he quipped, “I mean, listen I would vote for a corpse over voting for Donald Trump because he is a disgusting fascist white supremacist pig. Uh, but now, we get to like really make history. Like I said, we have like the first woman of color to be President of the United States and like our country was founded on the values of diversity, equity, and inclusion. And Kamala…There’s nothing that embodies those values more than a Kamala Harris presidency. So I’m pumped, I’m ready, I’m so excited. I’m a proud white dude for Kamala Harris, baby! Let’s go! Whooo!”
The interaction reached its peak when Strenger hilariously praised Harris’s economic policies, saying, “You know, the thing I am happiest about when it comes to a Kamala Harris presidency, it’s the economy and um, I’m finally excited how she wants to put a cap on prices at the grocery store. And, you know, like, even if price controls, they lead to like shortages of food and basic goods. Shortages will lead to rationing and rationing leads to equity and we need to be a more equitable place in America to dismantle our system of white supremacy.”

Conservatives on social media quickly picked up on the satire, sharing the video widely and laughing at the absurdity of Strenger’s impersonation. His portrayal was so spot-on that it exposed the contradictions and hyperbole often present in political discourse, especially when driven by identity politics.
In the end, Strenger’s performance at the DNC was more than just a joke—it was a sharp critique of the superficiality that often accompanies political movements based on identity rather than ideas. His satire not only entertained but also provoked thought, making it a standout moment in an otherwise chaotic convention.
