Obama Fundraiser Now Backing Trump!

In a significant shift in political allegiance, Allison Huynh, a former stalwart Democrat fundraiser who significantly contributed to Barack Obama’s presidential campaigns, has publicly declared her support for Donald Trump in the upcoming 2024 presidential election. Huynh, a prominent figure in the tech industry and founder of the robotics and AI systems firm Willow Garage—later acquired by Google—has been a key player in Silicon Valley’s political fundraising landscape.

During the 2008 campaign, alongside her ex-husband, Google programmer Scott Hassan, Huynh hosted lavish fundraising dinners, charging up to $100,000 per plate, which drew numerous high-profile guests. However, her recent interview with Fox News’ Jesse Watters unveiled her growing disenchantment with the Democratic Party. She explained her departure from the party as akin to a “divorce,” attributing it to an accumulation of unresolved issues.

She described the city’s streets as being plagued by visible drug abuse and unchecked criminal activities, which she finds unacceptable and unsafe for her family.
