In a significant move, President Joe Biden has unveiled a proposal to grant amnesty to at least 500,000 undocumented immigrants. This figure, as suggested by sources close to the administration, could potentially be much higher, marking a dramatic shift in U.S. immigration policy.
Stephen Miller, former advisor to President Trump and founder of America First Legal, criticized the plan as unconstitutional. According to Miller, “Biden’s unconstitutional amnesty will give illegal aliens immediate green cards (making it easier to vote illegally) and a three-year path to citizenship (giving them full voting rights).” He also highlighted a controversial aspect of the proposal, which he refers to as a ‘diploma mill provision’. This would allegedly allow the creation of what Miller describes as “meaningless diplomas,” which could expedite the citizenship process for recipients.

Miller further added, “Once citizens, illegals get chain migration. So all their relatives become citizens too.” This comment points to the potential long-term demographic and electoral impacts of the amnesty.
