In recent news from the White House, President Joe Biden’s handling of his pets, particularly his dog Commander, has come under scrutiny. This Thursday, it was disclosed by Judicial Watch that the group had secured 116 pages of records from the U.S. Secret Service, documenting multiple aggressive incidents involving Commander, some severe enough to require medical intervention.
These revelations are part of a broader narrative involving the Biden family pets, with the issues starting from a previous pet before escalating with Commander. According to Judicial Watch, “Judicial Watch FOIA requests and lawsuits exposed initial White House falsehoods about the severity and number of attacks by the Bidens’ previous dog, Major.” The scrutiny continued as they obtained documents showing that “Commander was also attacking Secret Service personnel,” with records from last July detailing 10 biting episodes.

The disclosed documents highlight several biting incidents dating back to September 2023. On September 12, while President Biden was walking Commander in the Kennedy Garden, one agent was bitten twice, damaging his suit with three holes, although he reported no severe injuries. The situation seemed to worsen over time, with a subsequent email from September 25 revealing another agent was bitten badly enough that EMTs were called to the scene.
