Representative Bob Good (R-VA), a Republican and the chair of the House Freedom Caucus, was ejected from the grand opening of a pro-Trump business in Virginia’s 5th Congressional District by ardent followers of the former president. Reese Gorman, a writer for the Daily Beast, recorded a heated exchange between Good and the event organizer, who accused him of trying to utilize the occasion for his own political gain.
Good was approached by the organizer for sending deceptive messages suggesting he planned the event, which featured Trump’s likeness and asked for money. We chastised this unapproved attempt to use the occasion for self-promotion.

Karen Angulo, a former local GOP chair, made the following clear: “This is not the Fitbisters, this is my private show, and you all are trespassing.” More charges were brought against Good, claiming that he was attempting to misrepresent the event location as a public area while it was actually privately held in order to exploit it for his political activities.

According to a representative for the Trump team, Good’s primary advantage in 2020 will not play a role in the 2024 race.
“Bob Good won’t be electable when we get done with him,” said Trump’s campaign manager Chris LaCivita in a Cardinal News interview conducted last month. Good responded to criticism of his endorsement by making it clear that he was not against Trump.
“I’m not against President Trump — I like what President Trump did. I just think we need eight years and so that’s why I endorsed Gov. DeSantis,” In January, Good gave a media explanation.
The proprietor of the shop disclosed that Good attended the gathering without being invited, even though he had been informed the night before that his attendance was unwanted.
