Trump’s Victory Lap: Willis Case Declared Dead by Analyst!

On Thursday, legal commentator Caroline Polisi declared categorically that it was “game over for her” since new testimony refuted Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis’s claims on her relationship with a coworker.

Regular guest on CNN and MSNBC, Polisi, was unrelenting in her criticism of the Fulton County DA’s turbulent day.

“Don’t let the legalese fool you,” she opened. “This is epic. This is monumental. If things are going in the direction we think, Fani Willis lied to the court, and it’s game over for her. She will be disqualified. If they had a relationship before when they represented the truth to the court, it’s a huge deal. I can’t overstate.”

In a statement to Mediaite, Polisi provided further background, stating “Willis will be disqualified, which means her entire office is disqualified, which means the case will have to be re-assigned and languish with the PAC of Georgia, effectively killing the case. Her credibility is completely shot.”

What this means for Willis’s case of electoral fraud against the former president is still up in the air.

At the very least, it appears that Willis’s position as the case’s main attorney is in peril given the possibility that she misled when testifying over the date of her romance with deputy Nathan Wade.

WATCH:

This past week, a fresh accusation was made by a co-defendant in Willis’s lawsuit against Trump, which caused her circumstances to worsen even further.

Attorneys for Michael Roman claimed in a 122-page document that they had a witness whose testimony contradicts Willis’s claims about the beginning and end of their relationship with prosecutor Nathan Wade, after she appointed him as a special prosecutor in the probe into Trump’s attempts to have the Georgia 2020 election results overturned.

Willis confessed her contact with Wade in a 176-page court statement in response to a request filed on January 8 by Roman’s counsel seeking her exclusion from the case.

ALERT! Major Water Restrictions In Effect!

Contrary to Wade’s assertions in an affidavit he attached to Willis’s filing on February 2, which stated that the relationship did not start before 2022, Roman’s attorneys named a friend of Wade who could attest to the fact that the relationship started before Willis took on the role of district attorney in their filing.
