According to the police, while one of the suspects was wearing all white at the time, the security guard grabbed a bag of stolen goods from him.
The young person dressed in all white then shot a 37-year-old Brazilian visitor to New York City in the leg instead of the security guard.

According to the New York Post, during a recent incident, one of the suspects stayed behind while the other two fled the store with the gunman. After pursuing the suspects, police in the area of West 46th Street and Seventh Avenue were able to capture a 15-year-old boy. It’s interesting to note that this young person lives in the Stewart Hotel, which is close by and has been converted into a refuge for migrants by far-left NYC Mayor Eric Adams.
After being questioned, he was ultimately released, according to ABC News.
According to NYPD Chief of Patrol John Chell, the gunman then raced down a busy West 47th Street toward Sixth Avenue before firing two shots at an officer who was pursuing. Thankfully, the officer escaped unharmed and refrained from firing back.
The gunman was exposed by Chell, and he then made a spectacular break for it into the 49th Street subway station. At the intersection of West 48th Street and Sixth Avenue, the two suspects left a trail of abandoned clothing in their hurry.
