The Biden administration purposefully chose to release the numbers on Friday, delaying their release for more than three weeks.
“This represents a 460 percent increase from the average December during the Trump administration.” RNC Research said.
Following their invasion of Texas, thousands of illegal aliens were discovered last month and were waiting to be processed by the Border Patrol at the Eagle Pass port of entry.

An alarming total of over 4,000 people who entered the country illegally were documented crossing the border in Eagle Pass in a single day, according to a recent report by Fox News journalist Griff Jenkins.
Railway operations at the border were temporarily suspended in December due to the extreme situation at the border. This choice was taken in order to provide additional funding to deal with the flood of undocumented immigrants.
Union Pacific stated last month that there was a noticeable effect from the border railway operations being halted.
