The much awaited swimsuit issue of 2022 featured an audacious and powerful choice. Among the selected individuals were a woman who was challenging conventional beauty standards by emphasizing body positivity, and an experienced dietician who was 74 years old.

The fact that they have a picture of a Muslim woman in a burkini and hijab openly glorifies the mistreatment of women and advocates Sharia law.

It seems that they might have forgotten about their audience in their quest for the Woke Olympics title.

Richard Deitsch, a sports media reporter, recently sent X an interesting email. This email was from his previous employer, Sports Illustrated for the Athletic, and was distributed to all staff members on Friday.

Employees at SI are notified in the note that many, if not all, of their jobs are expected to be eliminated.

The Authentic Brands Group and The Arena Group have canceled their contract for the print and digital distribution of Sports Illustrated, according to The New York Post. Certain employees will be let go immediately as a result. This decision was made five years after Sports Illustrated was acquired by the Authentic Brands Group from Meredith for $110 million.

Following the announcement, Sports Illustrated Union posted the following on X:

“We have fought together as a union to maintain the standard of this storied publication that we love, and to make sure our workers are treated fairly for the value they bring to this company. It is a fight we will continue.” – Mitch Goldich, NFL editor and unit chair.

ALERT! Major Water Restrictions In Effect!

Sports Illustrated employees were informed earlier today that The Arena Group intends to fire a sizable portion, if not all, of the Guild-represented employees at SI due to Authentic Brands Group (ABG) rescinding Arena’s license to publish SI.

Sports Illustrated, which has been struggling for four years under the management of Arena Group (formerly The Maven), is going to have another difficult day. We implore ABG to sustain SI’s publication so that it can continue to serve our devoted readership and maintain its 70-year history.

We will tenaciously fight for equitable treatment for all of our coworkers and insist that The Arena Group adhere to the provisions of our collective bargaining agreement.
