What should a legislator say when she finds out that students in her city were denied an education in order to appease lawbreakers? The legislator is tasked with representing and defending the interests of the people.

Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez of New York spoke bluntly about the relocation of kids in her city in order to make room for migrants.

On Wednesday, James Madison High School in Brooklyn was forced to move to remote learning. About 2,000 refugees were temporarily housed on the school property after they had to be moved from another place because of an impending storm. Fox News published this information.
Many parents reacted negatively to a contentious decision made by New York City officials; others expressed their displeasure. One parent even thought it was a purposeful “litmus test” to see if the building could house migrant workers over the summer. This information was reported by the New York Post.
But when AOC was asked what she thought, she seemed indifferent.
When Hillary Vaughn, a Fox Business journalist, questioned her about “OK with a school being used as a shelter” or migrants, the spokesperson for the Democratic party said. “Again, it’s not in my district,” according to a videotape obtained by The Daily Wire.
“What’s most important is that we identify a facility that’s appropriate for these folks,” she continued.
“I don’t anticipate it being a long-term solution — it shouldn’t be a long-term solution,” she added.
Anger and enormous negativity greeted New York’s founding member of the far-left “squad” when he made a statement about X.
AOC’s dramatic border demonstration in 2018—during the Trump administration—was brought up by a user, highlighting her well-known, emotional reaction to “kids in cages.”
“Neither is the border in TX but you went down there when DT was POTUS and wailed and cried,” the user wrote.

Progressive Democrats like AOC want a “ceasefire” in the confrontation between Israel and Hamas. This is an attempt to halt Israel’s efforts to destroy the terrorist organization in the wake of the October 7 attack on Israelis.
This is nothing new; AOC has always taken an anti-Israel position. In 2021, she famously wept tears on the House floor after the U.S. approved a $1 billion agreement to bolster Israel’s Iron Dome anti-missile defense system.
Fox News reports that New York City has already set aside $1.45 billion for the fiscal year 2023 to aid migrants. In addition, the city projects spending an extra $11 billion over the following two years.
Children are among the most susceptible to the effects of the migration issue.
AOC puts her personal agenda ahead of the interests of the people living in her own city and the children.
When it’s beyond her area, one of the most vociferous members of Congress remains remarkably silent.
