Despite the COVID Vaccine Incident, Resilient Star Actor Returns to General Hospital Successfully
Former General Hospital cast member Steve Burton was let go in 2021 for defying the program’s vaccination policy. ABC broadcast a program on Thursday called “General Hospital: 60 Years of Stars & Storytelling.” Burton made his appearance alongside co-stars Kelly Monaco and Lauren Wright as menacing music began to play, then he opened a door and entered.
“Happy anniversary, ‘General Hospital.’ Stay tuned — big things coming to Port Charles,” the actor said.
After departing Days of Our Lives, actor Burton is going back to his beloved position on General Hospital. Burton, who began the program in 1991 and departed in 2012, is well-known for having a lengthy run there. But from his 2017 return till his most recent departure in 2021, he made a comeback.
