CNN has confirmed that Wilkinson’s publicist, Nancy Seltzer, has officially announced the news.
The family of Tom Wilkinson announces with deep sadness that he passed away unexpectedly on December 30 at home. “His wife and family were with him,” Seltzer’s statement stated.
It added: “The family asks for privacy at this time.”
It is unknown what caused the death.
