Many people, one of whom is a Washington, D.C. elected official, are being charged with vote fraud for casting ballots in more than one jurisdiction.
It has been reported that Vanessa Rubio, the Ward 4 Advisory Neighborhood Commissioner, voted in both D.C. and Maryland in the general election of 2020, the DC Elections Board has confirmed.

“Documents from the board state Rubio voted in person in Maryland on Nov. 1, 2020, and then in D.C. on Nov. 3, 2020,” the report stated.
The documents show that Rubio acknowledged casting two votes, but she defended her actions by saying that she didn’t think it was improper given that Washington, D.C. is not a state.
The board has penalized Rubio $500.
Meanwhile, the leader of ANC 4E said that Rubio has been asked to resign by the other commissioners, but she has declined. As a result, they intend to present a motion that would censure her and remove her from her secretary position.

According to a court document, Georgian investigators have not discovered any proof to support allegations that forged or fraudulent ballots were counted in Fulton County during the general election of 2020.
The state attorney general’s office attorneys filed a response brief on Tuesday outlining the steps taken in the investigation in response to the allegations.
In a brief submitted on Tuesday, Secretary of State Brad Raffensperger addresses claims made in affidavits included in the lawsuit. These claims state that witnesses observed suspicious-looking absentee ballots during a manual ballot count that was required by a state audit.
“Based upon the witness statements and examination of approximately 1,000 absentee ballots and ballot images, the Secretary’s investigators have not uncovered any absentee ballots that match the descriptions given… or otherwise appear to be fraudulent or counterfeit,” the brief said.
