The majority of the correspondence took place before Hunter Biden joined the Burisma board, according to an NBC News investigation. Hunter’s former business associate Devon Archer said that Biden’s appointment to the board was motivated by gaining influence and emphasized that the company’s success was guaranteed by the “Biden brand”.
