Known as “Pierre Delecto” in the political community, Senator Mitt Romney made it clear in an interview with CBS’s Norah O’Donnell that he would support any candidate participating in the Republican primary—aside from Trump.
Romney said he would be open to supporting a number of Democrats.

“Who do you like in the Republican field?” Norah O’Donnell asked Romney.
“Uh, anybody. I’d be happy to support virtually any of the Republicans…I’d be happy to vote for a number of the Democrats too…it would be an upgrade, in my opinion from Donald Trump,” Romney said.
Romney declared that he “likes president Biden” and said he finds him “very charming, engaging person.”

The 76-year-old Romney decided in September not to seek reelection.
“Frankly, it’s time for a new generation of leaders. They’re the ones that need to make the decisions that will shape the world they will be living in,” Romney said.
For a number of years, President Trump has been the target of constant criticism from Mitt Romney.
Romney vehemently denounced Trump in an insightful opinion piece that appeared in The Atlantic, making it clear that he would not support Trump’s bid for the presidency in 2024.

“I hope for a president who can rise above the din to unite us behind the truth. That will require us all to rise above ourselves—above our grievances and resentments—and grasp the mantle of leadership our country so badly needs,” Romney wrote.

Romney has always been jealous of Trump’s popularity. Romney always seemed to me like some rich kid who’s father was a popular politician and Mitt could never fills pop’s shoes. Trump (to me) was a great president and he made life here in this United States a lot better that the present bribe taking, treasonous president. With all the evidence the over site committee has gathered I can not understand how people who voted him in can still believe in him and his crooked family.
