James Comer (R-KY), the chair of the House Oversight Committee, has issued four strong subpoena demands. The committee’s ongoing investigations into the president’s son Hunter Biden and the Biden family’s business dealings with foreign nationals are closely related to these subpoenas.
Following the committee’s recent activities, subpoenas to two persons directly associated with the Biden family were served expeditiously. The most recent targets of this probe are Mervyn Yan, an official at the Chinese energy corporation CEFC, and Eric Schwerin, a reliable associate of Hunter Biden at Roseman Seneca Partners.

Comer has served subpoenas to George Bergès, the art dealer who obtained a whooping $500,000 for the artworks that were sold by Hunter Biden! Don’t overlook Elizabeth Neftali, the purchaser who was subsequently nominated by President Biden to a distinguished committee.
“The House Oversight Committee is leaving no stone unturned as we investigate President Joe Biden’s central role in his family’s domestic and international business dealings,” Comer stated in a release.
“A plethora of bank records, texts, emails, and a transcribed interview with Biden family associate Devon Archer all show the Bidens and their business partners sold access to the highest levels of our government, including Joe Biden himself, to the detriment of America’s interests,” Comer continued in his remarks to say.
“Today’s subpoenas represent another step in holding President Biden accountable. House Republicans are committed to doing the oversight work that the American people deserve,” In a personal statement, Jim Jordan, the chairman of the judiciary committee (R-Ohio), stated.
