Congresswoman Majorie Taylor Greene (R-GA) of Georgia demands that Alejandro Mayorkas, the director of homeland security, be removed from office. Her demand stems from the horrific deaths of two of her constituents at the hands of human traffickers who are illegal immigrants.
Representative Greene charges Mayorkas with “high crimes and misdemeanors” in connection with the untimely deaths of two elderly Georgians. All eight of the migrants in the caravan, headed by a Houston-based smuggler, died when the automobile carrying Jose and Isabel Lerma crashed with the caravan. “Rather than adhering to an oath he took to defend and secure our country and uphold the Constitution when he was sworn in and Secretary of Homeland Security,” Greene states, “Alejandro Nicholas Mayorkas has engaged in a pattern of conduct that is incompatible with the laws of the United States.”
Due to the Biden administration’s persistent inability to manage the migrant surge at the southern border, Mayorkas has lost “operational control over the entire international land and maritime borders of the United States.”
“The ongoing invasion at our southern border is a direct national security threat against the States and against the citizens therein. Secretary Mayorkas has willfully abandoned his duty to secure the border and protect States against invasion, thereby violating article IV, section 4 of the Constitution,” Greene affirms.
Drug traffickers along the southern border acquire fentanyl from Asia, which is why it is becoming more and more popular among drug users in the United States. Human trafficking has also resulted in substantial earnings for the Mexican cartels and an increase in immigration to liberal American towns. Congressman Chip Roy, a Republican from Texas, has blasted Mayorkas for neglecting to keep track of the more than 85,000 migrant children who were sent to makeshift homes after entering the nation.
“Alejandro Nicholas Mayorkas, in his inability to enforce the law, has engaged in a pattern of conduct that is incompatible with his duties as a civil officer of the United States,” Greene states.

Mayorkas refutes calling the southern border a “disaster” in testimony to the Senate this month.
“No, the disaster is that we have a broken immigration system that we cannot seem to fix,” he told senators.
