Rep. Barry Loudermilk (R-GA) of the United States disclosed new security camera footage that cast doubt on a Capitol Police officer’s account of his confrontation with a Proud Boys member on January 6, 2021. The Blaze was the first to report on this finding, and it warrants discussion.
U.S. Capitol Police Special Agent David Lazarus’s travels are depicted in a sequence of photos that Loudermilk supplied with timestamps, informing the publication that “an allegation of a Capitol Police officer lying under oath is very serious and must be fully investigated.”

Baker looked at a significant aspect of the “Oath Keepers” trials from the previous year in a report. In a trial that has disturbed civil rights groups, federal prosecutors labeled certain group members as “the leaders” of “the insurrection,” leading to their conviction on charges of “seditious conspiracy.” Many Oath Keepers—some of whom did not even enter the building—were given sentences of decades in jail.
An altercation between the group and law officers was key to the government’s claim. This event happened at the top steps of the Capitol Rotunda, often known as the Speaker’s Lobby or the little or mini rotunda.
The jury was never shown direct video footage of the altercation, even though there were over 1,700 security cameras in operation on January 6. Prosecutors instead leaned on the evidence of Lazarus, a person in Nancy Pelosi’s security detail, who stated that as he was evacuating staff members for Pelosi, he witnessed U.S. Capitol Police Officer Harry Dunn conversing with four Oath Keepers “three or four times.”
Lazarus continued, saying that he was able to remove “11 or 12” staff members from Pelosi’s office because he saw Dunn “arguing” with protesters. “Every time I interacted or came by, yes, it was antagonistic,” Said Lazarus during direct questioning from Assistant US Attorney Alexandra Hughes, which proved to be a pivotal point in the trial.
Despite what is often believed, the Capitol Police officer was not even there when the claimed “insurrection” occurred. According to reports, Lazarus was in a separate Senate office building when he got into a fight with Dunn.

Lazarus’s movements were closely monitored by Baker, who found many contradictions in his sworn statement.
“During Lazarus’s Oct. 31, 2022 trial testimony, he stated that he began his return to the Capitol Building after hearing “shots” fired over USCP radio. That occurred at 2:43 p.m. Here, Lazarus can be seen moving back toward the Capitol at 2:45:04 p.m,” With another time-stamped CCTV still, Baker clarified.

I think most of the capital, police are corrupt and if they are black, they love to shoot unarmed, white women and get away with cold-blooded murder.
