Amid growing tensions with President Biden, the FBI raids the home of prominent fundraiser and advisor to Mayor Eric Adams, Brianna Suggs.
Screams were audible at Suggs’ home during the early Thursday operation in Brooklyn. A well-known member of Adams’ political circle, Suggs received more than $150,000 from the mayor’s campaign.

As reported by a neighbor of Suggs to The New York Post, “I heard screaming maybe two or three hours ago.” They also mentioned, “I heard helicopters (also) … the house is boarded up.”
Although the specific intentions of the raid remain unclear, there is little doubt that it will heighten animosity between Mayor Adams and the Biden administration. Strangely, Mayor Adams was supposed to meet with the Biden administration in Washington, D.C., today, but the event caused the meeting to be abruptly canceled.
According to a person with knowledge of the operation, Suggs was contacted by FBI agents from the New York branch’s public corruption squad while her home was being inspected. The FBI spokesperson stated to the New York Times, “We are at that location carrying out law enforcement action,” referring to Suggs’ Brooklyn home in the Crown Heights neighborhood.
