They went up to the man and demanded aggressively to know what he was doing. They begged him to stop right away, but he disregarded them and carried on demolishing signs, unconcerned that he was being videotaped. Paulie was indignant.
One of the men in the video says:

This is a free country. You can wave your Palestine flag and say, ‘Death to the Jews or America’ or whatever you want, but we can put up f*cking signs, okay. You are doing something. You’re offending us motherf*cker.
