When Hillary Clinton, a former secretary of state, spoke at Columbia University in New York City, she had to deal with a noisy anti-war demonstrator.
For more than three minutes, Clinton and the man argued vehemently. The demonstrator argued that the administration of Biden’s policy to sponsoring international wars might result in world war.
According to Newsweek, the former Democratic presidential candidate encountered a heated argument while giving a speech at a celebration in Columbia on the 75th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights.
“The hypocrisy of … can you please make a statement about President Joe Biden’s speech,” As Clinton attempted to shout over him from the stage, a guy who identified himself as Robert Castle roared.
“Can you please make a statement about Joe Biden’s speech?” he asked. “This is a clearly warmongering speech!”
“President Joe Biden is calling for $100 billion of funding for Israel, Taiwan and Ukraine, and we’re supposed to just bundle these together and pretend — like we’re going to rush to World War III? And we’re all just going to let Hillary Rodham Clinton sit here?”
Clinton interrupted the man and urged him to “sit down” and “you’re done.”
First Amendment rights are the subject of discussion as the former first lady asserts that Castle has already spoken up.
“It’s not free speech when you are disrupting everybody else’s opportunity to speak,” Clinton said.
“This is free speech. … This is people constructing narratives that are openly hypocritical,” he fired back.

As the man continued to rant, Clinton made an effort to change the subject. She stated readiness to continue the conversation privately at a later date despite the interruption.
She said, “I’ll meet you outside,” and Castle reacted dubiously.
Clinton is challenged by a man to refute the foreign policy and financing of conflicts of the White House. Her answer? “I’ll still meet you outside.”
According to a video released by a forum participant, Clinton did not meet with Castle after the event.
