Trump criticized his ongoing lawsuit case earlier today. He noted: “The ridiculous A.G. case against me in New York, brought by the Racist and Incompetent Peekaboo James, is being studied and mocked all over the World. Companies are Fleeing! It, and the highly political, Trump Hating Judge, are DESTROYING the Image and Reputation of the New York State Legal System & Courts.”
Trump also posted a video of Attorney General Letitia James calling him a “illegitimate president.” Trump has alleged over the past two days that James is acting out of political vengeance, branding her “corrupt” and a weapon in President Biden’s re-election campaign. He played a video of James campaigning in 2018, in which she called him a “illegitimate president” and vowed to file a lawsuit if she won the election.

“America is in uncharted territory. We are angrier and more divided than we have ever been at any point in our history since the Civil War,” In this video from 2018, James states. “At the eye of the storm is Donald Trump, ripping families apart, threatening women’s most basic rights. I’m running for attorney general because I will never be afraid to challenge this illegitimate president.”
She continues, saying, “He should be charged with obstructing justice. I believe that the president of these United States can be indicted for criminal offenses. We would join law enforcement and other attorneys general across this nation in removing this president from office.” Later, Trump showed up more of her campaign clips in which she repeatedly threatened to sue him.
“THIS IS FROM 2018—WITCH HUNT!!” Trump wrote.
Since the trial’s opening on Monday, Engoron has issued a total of two orders. Trump’s criticism of one of Engoron’s law clerks in the media and on social media prompted the 45th President to impose a gag order against Engoron on Tuesday. On the second day of the continuing fraud trial, Engoron spoke with Trump’s defense team, “Consider this statement a gag order on all parties with respect to posting or publicly speaking about any member of my staff.”
In a since-deleted post, Trump wrote: “Schumer’s girlfriend, Alison R. Greenfield, is running this case against me. How disgraceful! This case should be dismissed immediately.”
