Tuesday’s announcement by House Speaker Kevin McCarthy to start the impeachment process against Vice President Joe Biden stunned the country. Though many have reacted to the choice, none have been as perplexing as John Fetterman’s.
It was very perplexing to see Fetterman’s response to McCarthy’s announcement of the impeachment probe. His overly snarky answer is nicely captured in the video.
“I’m asking about this news that Speaker McCarthy has formally launched an impeachment inquiry,” the reporter said.
“Oh my god, really? Oh my gosh. You know, oh, it’s devastating. Oh, don’t do it. Please don’t do it!” yelled a writhing Fetterman.

“I am directing our House committees to open a formal impeachment inquiry into President Joe Biden. Over the past several months, House Republicans have uncovered serious and credible allegations into President Biden’s conduct—a culture of corruption,” McCarthy shared a little video clip of his statements on the website X.
“Through our investigations, we have found that President Biden did lie to the American people about his own knowledge of his family’s foreign business dealings. Eye witnesses have testified that the president joined on multiple phone calls and had multiple interactions, dinners, resulting in millions of dollars into his son’s and son’s business partners. We know that nearly $20 million in payments were directed to the Biden family members and associates through various shell companies,” he added.
Explosive evidence uncovers over 170 bank documents connecting the Biden family to payments from Russian billionaires under investigation, Chinese venture capital businesses connected to the communist regime, and Ukrainian energy company Burisma. These foreign executives have a clear connection to Hunter Biden and his partner Devon Archer. Apparently, according to Archer’s testimony, President Biden went out of his way to win their favor by attending meals with them, returning their calls, and even providing a letter of reference for one of their own.

“Even a trusted FBI informant has alleged a bribe to the Biden family,” McCarthy continued by saying that Biden used his official position as vice president to coordinate media statements with Hunter’s business associates about Burisma, a firm that was under investigation by a local prosecutor for alleged public corruption. According to the FBI informant McCarthy mentioned, Biden pressured Ukrainian officials to sack prosecutor Viktor Shokin in exchange for a $5 million bribe. Shokin has since come forward to claim that then-Vice President Biden used the U.S. government’s resources against him to thwart his investigation into his son’s business dealings.
As allegations of income falsification in business transactions surface, Hunter Biden’s plea discussions with federal prosecutors get more intense. Most Americans believe that President Biden is aware of and involved in his family’s issues despite his frequent protestations of ignorance.
