Former President Trump earned a standing ovation from the Georgia Republican Convention audience as he vowed to “never yield” during his first speech since being indicted by the Biden DOJ.
A huge throng excitedly awaited the arrival of the former president and current front-runner for the GOP candidacy in 2024, with lines forming hours before his speech in Columbus, Georgia. Trump was welcomed by yet another jubilant gathering at the airport upon his arrival, and he took the opportunity to thank his supporters for their enduring support and greet them.

When the former president first entered the room, the audience immediately sprang to their feet and enthusiastically applauded.
“Everyone knows I’ve put everything on the line and I will never yield, I never yield,” Trump said to a thunderous round of applause and cheers. “I will never be deterred; I will never stop fighting for you.”
“I didn’t need this, I had a great life,” he said sarcastically, drawing laughs. “People said, ‘would you do it again,’ well the answer is yes, because we’re going to make America great again.”
“On November 5, 2024, we’re going to stand up to the corrupt political establishment – we’re going to evict a totally corrupt president, Joe Biden, from the White House,” Trump continued, to loud and enthusiastic applause.
“And we’re going to finish the job that we started, the most successful presidency,” he continued, to which the crowd responded with chants of “USA!”

A rally was conducted a few days after former President Trump was indicted by the grand jury of special counsel Jack Smith on a number of federal counts, including handling classified information improperly and obstructing the justice system.
