Deep State Targets Trump’s Circle: Shocking Indictment Revealed!

Walt Nauta, a longtime adviser to former President Donald Trump, has been charged by the Department of Justice as part of an investigation into the 45th president’s improper handling of sensitive information.

Nauta served as President Trump’s military valet before transitioning to serve as his personal assistant after retiring from the Navy.

The Washington Post reports that Nauta has been named as a key witness in the criminal prosecution of Trump. Nauta’s testimony is essential to the investigation because of his critical role in managing boxes of paperwork sent to the former president’s Mar-a-Lago property after his term as president came to an end.

“On Friday, a 49-page indictment was unsealed charging the Navy Veteran with six criminal counts, alleging that he conspired with and helped the former president hide his unlawful retained classified documents from Trump’s attorney, the FBI and a grand jury, and lying about it. The offenses are punishable by up to 20 years in prison,” according to the Post.

In a post on Truth Social, Trump reacted to the news of Nauta’s indictment by writing, “I have just learned that the ‘Thugs’ from the Department of Injustice will be Indicting a wonderful man, Walt Nauta, a member of the U.S. Navy, who served proudly with me in the White House, retired as Senior Chief, and then transitioned into private life as a personal aide.”

“He has done a fantastic job! They are trying to destroy his life, like the lives of so many others, hoping that he will say bad things about ‘Trump.’ He is strong, brave, and a Great Patriot. The FBI and DOJ are CORRUPT!”

The Guardian reports that Stanley Woodward, Nauta’s attorney, claimed in a letter to James Boasberg, chief judge for the District of Columbia, that prosecutors asked for a meeting with him at the Justice Department in November. According to Woodward, the goal of the meeting was to influence Nauta to turn against President Trump.

Nauta’s testimony might result in accusations of making false statements, according to Jay Bratt, head of the counterintelligence division. Given this, it would be wise to persuade Nauta to work with the opposition against Trump in order to provide an accurate result.

“Bratt then turned to Woodward and remarked that he did not think that Woodward was a ‘Trump guy’ and that ‘he would do the right thing,’ before noting that he knew Woodward had submitted an application to be a judge at the superior court in Washington DC that was currently pending, [Woodward’s] letter said,” according to the Guardian.

“The allegation, in essence, is that Bratt suggested Woodward’s judicial application might be considered more favorably if he and his client cooperated against Trump. The letter was filed after Trump’s lawyers submitted a motion on Monday seeking grand jury transcripts, because of what they viewed as potential misconduct,” the Guardian said.

On Friday, the indictment against the former president was made public by special counsel Jack Smith, who is in charge of the case involving the Trump documents.

This file contains 37 indictments for offenses such knowingly withholding sensitive information about the nation’s defense, planning to obstruct justice, and making false statements while under oath.

The accusations against Nauta are contained in the 49-page indictment sheet.

Prosecutors in the case against Nauta are currently attempting to use a strategy that was used in the Russia investigation by special counsel Robert Mueller.

Three people with close ties to President Trump—Paul Manafort, Michael Flynn, and Roger Stone—were accused of various offenses by Mueller’s prosecutors. However, none of them participated despite efforts to elicit testimonies against Trump.

Before leaving office, Trump issued pardons for each of them.
