According to ConservativeBrief
The legal conflict became more heated with new developments in Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg’s case against former President Donald Trump.
Trump’s hush-money lawsuit is up against a formidable challenge. Tuesday, Bragg promised to reject the attorneys for Trump’s effort to have the case moved to federal court. According to Trump’s argument, the allegations are a federal matter since they are related to his administration. The opposition from Bragg may significantly alter the course of the case.
Prosecutors in Manhattan claimed that the case should continue to be heard by the state court since the former president’s âalleged criminal conduct had no connection to his official duties and responsibilities as President, but instead arose from his unofficial actions relating to his private businesses and pre-election conduct.â
Trump is facing 34 criminal charges for falsifying business records in relation to Stormy Daniels, an adult film star.
Before the 2016 presidential election, Trump allegedly paid out Daniels to stay quiet about an affair from 2006. Trump asserts his innocence despite being charged with 34 offenses.
Legal professionals fiercely refute the feeble prosecution of Bragg following his indictment.
âThe question to ask yourself in a case like this [is], âWould a case like this be brought against anybody else, whether he or she be president, former president or a regular citizen?â The answer is⌠no,â Sol Wisenberg, a former Whitewater assistant counsel, said.
âYou can debate all day long whether or not⌠Trump should be indicted related to the records at Mar-a-Lago, whether or not he should be indicted with respect to Jan. 6 incitement of lawless activity⌠Those are real crimes if they occurred, and he committed them,â he said. âThis is preposterous.â
Tali Farhadian Weinstein, a former federal and state prosecutor, said: âBragg is making a strategic decision to push back against Donald Trump and it might backfire. The former president is demanding that the Manhattan District Attorneyâs office provide a âbill of particulars,â outlining the specific reason they upgraded his charges of business record fraud from misdemeanors to felonies in the Stormy Daniels hush payment case â something that under New York law, requires the fraud to have been committed in order to cover up a second crime. Bragg has declined to provide it so far. This could actually be a problem for Bragg.â
According to Tom Fitton, the corruption is being exposed:
Also from the New York Post:
A supervisory investigator has been punished for getting in touch with Michael Cohen, Trump’s ex-attorney and adversary, which puts a stop to Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg’s Trump case. Police sources made this information available to The Post.
According to sources, Jeremy Rosenberg, a Bragg financial crime investigator, had his pistol taken away because of his meetings with Cohen.
âThe office is conducting a review of an investigatorâs compliance with internal office protocols,â a representative for Bragg stated.
According to a trustworthy source, Bragg’s office is looking into how Rosenberg provided law authorities with information regarding Cohen.
Lanny J. Davis, Cohen’s attorney, said: âThe interactions between Mr. Rosenberg, Michael Cohen, and myself were always professional and focused on Mr. Cohenâs personal security, which we appreciated.â
Trump’s attorney Mark Bederow says that the suspension has no impact on Trump’s case, but the defense team is keen to find out what prompted the probe.
âIt might not affect the case, but certainly from a defense standpoint they would want to know whatâs the nature of their relationship,â Bederow said. âWhat did they talk about and did this detective investigator have anything that fits the form of a disclosure to the defense.â
Bragg’s suspension was criticized as being the result of a highly political decision that promotes a mild approach to crime.
According to former Detective Investigators Association President John Fleming, “the only other place I could compare this to is the FBI.”
In the lawsuit against Steve Bannon involving a $15 million dollar fraudulent fundraising scheme for a border wall, Rosenberg was a key player. Trump pardoned Bannon despite this. Rosenberg did not answer when asked for comment.
The main ideas of Trump’s legal move are as follows:
- The judgeâs daughter is a partner, President, and Chief Operating Officer of Authentic Campaigns, an entity that stands to financially benefit from decisions the Court makes in the case involving President Trump.
- The defense was not aware of the judgeâs daughterâs employment until it was reported by the media after the arraignment in the case.
- The defense argues that the Court should have disclosed its relationship to Authentic Campaigns, through its daughter, at or prior to arraignment based on previous cases where disclosure was required to avoid an appearance of impropriety.
- Authentic Campaigns is a digital agency that partners with clients to build online programs for progressive campaigns. It has publicly taken positions against President Trump and has raised over $74 million in campaign contributions for Democrat clients since 2018.
- Authentic Campaignsâ clients include progressive causes and Democrat elected officials, such as the Biden-Harris campaign, Kamala Harris for the People, and Hakeem Jeffries.
- Authentic Campaigns prominently displays a campaign rally for Vice President Kamala Harris on its website and features the âBiden Harrisâ campaign as its client.

The witch hunt needs to end and Bragg in jail.
