Republicans Set to Revive Abruptly Dropped Clinton Foundation Probes

Rep. Byron Donalds (R-FL), a member of the GOP, advocates reopening inquiries into Hillary Clinton’s history that the FBI had previously dropped in 2016. This declaration comes in response to the special counsel John Durham’s report, which reveals the Clinton campaign’s involvement in the launch of the phony “Russian collusion” investigation. According to the Florida senator, a biased mainstream media would have prevented the phony probe into Trump’s campaign from gaining the required traction. “The media was in on this from the beginning, in my view. They’re the ones who were willing to launder out Hillary Clinton’s phony, made-up information about Donald Trump,” Donalds said.

“So her media friends are not gonna come out now and say, ‘Oh yeah, you know what? We were wrong, and this is damning,’” he continued. “They’re just gonna laugh it off, cover it for one or two days, and then ignore it. This is really dangerous for our country.”

Later in the discussion, he endorsed reopening the federal probes into the Clinton Foundation that were suspended just before the 2016 election with U.S. Rep. Matt Gaetz (R-FL). “I totally agree, we should definitely be looking into this,” Donalds said. “Because you have a situation here where they had some basis of information there to start those inquiries. And the report clearly shows, you have I believe it was Peter Strzok and other people high up in the FBI who came in, and in one meeting, shut it all down,” Donalds said.
