Carlson joked that if Fox News ever let him leave, he might end up in Hungary, citing his previous experience hosting a week’s worth of broadcasts there.
“I wish I was there in Budapest,” Carlson exclaimed. “If I ever get fired and have some time and can leave, I will be there with you. But in the meantime, Godspeed. We are thinking of you and cheering you on.”
Carlson’s time as a host on the network came to an end in a matter of weeks.
