“Racism, Discrimination, and Dark Money: The Liberal Behemoth Exposed!”

An important “dark money” nonprofit’s former employees recently filed a lawsuit, alleging that they were subjected to bigotry and discrimination at work. Their legal actions assert alarming discriminatory actions at this company, necessitating internal reform.

According to a number of cases, the New Venture Fund treated its black female employees unfairly by paying them less than white counterparts and threatening to fire them if they spoke out. These charges bring up important questions regarding workplace discrimination within this reputable company.

“I think it shows the hypocrisy in how the left is dealing with this campaign for DEI. It shows that progressivism ultimately eats itself. It’s just cancerous,” Senior Researcher at Capitol Research Center Hayden Ludwig recently gave the Daily Caller News Foundation some of his perspective.

According to two newly published lawsuits, The New Venture Fund, the largest nonprofit inside Arabella Advisors’ network of nonprofits, has been charged with maintaining a toxic work environment replete with racism and prejudice. Former workers have come forward with their experiences of pervasive discrimination at this institution that exists at all levels.

Two former workers of New Venture Fund affiliates are suing the company on the grounds that they suffered from unequal compensation and risked being fired in retaliation if they reported discrimination. Francesca Weaks and Sarah Walker’s experiences imply that their black counterparts at the institution are not treated equally there, despite vociferous assurances to the contrary.

“I think it shows the hypocrisy in how the left is dealing with this campaign for DEI. It shows that progressivism ultimately eats itself. It’s just cancerous. I also have to laugh at the way that Arabella has described these nonprofits as basically apolitical, that they’re just promoting good charitable causes, when in reality, they don’t even believe their own ideology,” Capitol Research Center Senior Researcher Hayden Ludwig told the Daily Caller News Foundation.

Amber Weaks has filed a lawsuit after encountering racism at work. She was employed by Local Solutions Support Center, a subsidiary of New Venture Fund, as a racial equity consultant, but discovered that the organization’s leadership was ignoring the racial harassment experienced by some of her coworkers. Her case against them is based on this problem.

“It soon became obvious there was a custom of leaders speaking over Black individuals when they were speaking about race, diversity, and equity,” Weaks said in the lawsuit. Weaks claims that her contract was wrongfully terminated after she voiced concerns regarding the organization’s “unethical and racist practice.”

When she discovered that the New Venture Fund had misrepresented its affiliation with the NAACP, Marion Weaks initiated a lawsuit against it. Her colleagues rejected and disregarded her pleas for them to amend this information when speaking with potential contributors.

“We are committed to creating a workplace where diverse people, cultures, and perspectives are welcome, and in which all are treated in an equitable and inclusive manner,” a New Venture Fund spokesperson told the DCNF. “We take HR claims seriously and conduct investigations into all allegations of wrongdoing, making sure appropriate action is taken.”

Last year, Walker, a former worker of the Secure Democracy subsidiary of New Venture, launched a contentious lawsuit alleging discrimination and unjust treatment. Walker contends that she was fired for bravely confronting her superiors about racial wage disparities.

Due to their alleged financial wrongdoing and “many” IRS code violations, Walker’s lawsuit claimed that NVF and SD were not abiding by the law. Walker said that doing this not only endangered their tax-exempt status but also demonstrated a disregard for the law, setting a risky precedent for everyone who dealt with them.

Successful African American CEO Andrea Walker has filed a lawsuit against her workplace alleging racial and disability discrimination. She asserts that a similar white CEO with the same disease was given concessions but she was denied reasonable accommodations because of her lupus.

“The progressive public image of New Venture Fund did not translate to a progressive work environment,” according to the lawsuit. “Ms. Walker faced discrimination during the entirety of her employment, and called out the workplace injustices experienced by her and others.”

A nonprofit organization called The New Venture Fund, which is a component of the Arabella network, has recently had great success. With 2021 net assets totalling an incredible $1,118 billion 219 thousand 688 dollars and annual contributions of over $900 million, this “paymaster” for affiliated non-profits is without a doubt setting new philanthropic benchmarks.

“It’s kind of the central paymaster for all of the other spokes in the wheel. This lawsuit shows how tied the popups are to this central massive nonprofit,” Ludwig said. “The New Venture Fund basically has two functions, moving money through it from lefty foundations into other political groups or using those funds to pay for its own pop ups.”

The Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation, the Ford Foundation, and Susan Thompson Buffett’s namesake organization are just a few of the illustrious foundations that have donated to the New Venture Fund. Together, they contribute vital resources to this significant undertaking.

“I think this is an ugly example of the inner workings of this network. And I really don’t think the leftist foundations that bankroll it care,” Ludwig continued.
