A guy accused of stealing items worth up to $100,000 from the Super Bowl Experience in downtown Phoenix has been detained by police.
A 36-year-old man named George Rodriguez was detained and accused of stealing projection lights and other equipment worth more than $100,000. Three days before to his arrest, the objects were observed exiting the Regency parking garage, which led to the incident.

Rodriguez allegedly informed police that a buddy had called him and claimed “he found his stolen property, and he needed [George’s] assistance in obtaining the items.”
When asked to cover his license plate before parking, Rodriguez had a sneaking suspicion that something wasn’t right; this made him feel nervous.
The manufacturing equipment that had been stolen was successfully located and given back to its rightful owner after a thorough police investigation. Part of the reason the offenders were apprehended and prosecuted was due to effective cooperation amongst law enforcement officers.
Rodriguez made mention of a person who is a potential source of information during the police questioning. Authorities have not yet released information about any probable suspects or confirmed that an arrest was made.
