The following statement was made public by the Pentagon: “The United States government has detected and is tracking a high-altitude surveillance balloon that is over the continental United States right now.”
“The balloon was spotted over Billings, Montana, on Wednesday. A senior defense official says the balloon is still over the U.S. but declined to say where it is now,” NBC broadcast. The spy balloon is three school buses in size.
The U.S. Air Force moved swiftly and sent three fighter planes to intercept the strange Chinese surveillance balloon mid-flight.
“Three US air force planes circling over northern Montana where the Pentagon has found a massive Chinese spy balloon,” Upward News reported.
Eliminating the surveillance balloon could provide a solution, although it now seems less practical.
