President Biden’s Home Should Be Raided Too

After it was discovered that President Biden had taken confidential materials home, Rep. Jim Jordan of Ohio, who had just taken over as chairman of the GOP’s Weaponsization Subcommittee, set the tone for Republican condemnation. His response led to the growing disapproval of the Commander-in-Chief and his handling of sensitive information.

Recently, Rep. Jordan emphasized the obvious differences between the treatment of President Trump and Joe Biden by the DOJ and FBI, claiming that the rule of law has been replaced with unjust double standards. The congressman’s remarks reveal a worrying trend in America, one that is reminiscent of a banana republic and where justice is no longer blind.

“Why was President Trump’s home raided but not President Biden’s? Why did the FBI take pictures of President Trump’s so-called classified documents but not President Biden’s? Republicans just want fair and equal treatment under the law.”

Jordan, who is in charge of the subcommittee on the weaponization of government, will probably look at how “justice” has been abused by institutions like the FBI. Unfortunately, it seems that this force uses its power as a club against those who dared to disagree instead of encouraging fair play and equal treatment for everyone.

The Republican allegations of improper treatment of records have been vigorously refuted by the Biden Administration, with White House spokesman Ian Sams noting their reaction to the Trump document crisis as justification for their lack of “no credibility” in making claims.

“Their demands should be met with skepticism, and they should face questions themselves about why they are politicizing this issue and admitting they actually do not care about the underlying classified material.”

The White House Counsel’s Office also defended the materials, telling Fox News Digital that everyone basically does it. “Like every President in decades of modern history, his personal residence is personal. But upon taking office, President Biden restored the norm and tradition of keeping White House visitors logs, including publishing them regularly, after the previous administration ended them.”

Rep. James Comer has voiced his own concerns with the Justice Department’s treatment of former President Trump in contrast to Biden amid inquiries from Rep. Jim Jordan and other Republican lawmakers, telling Jake Tapper:

“The fact that they were quick to call for special counsel with Trump, it seems political here. It seems hypocritical. It seems like a double standard. That’s our concern. I have jurisdiction as chairman of the House Oversight Committee over the National Archives. This is the agency I’m most frustrated with because they have not been transparent at all. They should be briefing myself and ranking member Raskin who will be your next guest on the show, about what’s going on here. They never did tell us about November 2nd. We asked questions about what went on with Mar-a-Lago. Why was Mar-a-Lago raided but the president’s home not? Why are the president’s lawyers still allowed to rummage through looking for documents after a special counsel has been appointed? It doesn’t make sense. It’s not fair. We just want equal treatment.”
