In an unexpected turn of events, California police have charged a doctor with attempted murder and child abuse after he allegedly intentionally drove his family over the edge of a 250-foot cliff in their Tesla.
At Providence Holy Cross Medical Center in Pasadena, where he has worked for more than 20 years as a radiologist, Dr. Dharmesh Patel offers cutting-edge assistance to the local medical industry.

Patel made the terrible choice to do an imprudent U-turn while careening recklessly along Highway 1 towards San Francisco with his family in tow. What had seemed to be just another routine day for Patel and his passengers suddenly diverted onto Devil’s Slide and plunged almost 250 feet into the darkness below amid the jagged rocks.
A thorough examination of the available data indicates that the automobile seemed to flip numerous times before coming to rest on its wheels.
The Coastside Fire Protection District’s battalion chief for Cal Fire commented, “The damage to the vehicle would indicate that it hit, and then flipped several times.”

Fortunately, a family of four managed to escape a severe automobile collision unharmed, shocking the first responders and rescue crews. The patients were evacuated away from danger and brought to obtain treatment in a neighboring hospital after quickly realizing they required medical assistance.
At first, it was speculated that the collision may have resulted from a self-driving auto system failure. However, when more inquiries regarding what transpired were made, it became evident that this had not happened. The most astounding result of these experiments was how effectively Tesla cars withstand catastrophic crashes, with passengers staying safe despite such substantial potential for fatal devastation.
Thankfully, the two toddlers present at the incident were unharmed while two adults were sent to the hospital with injuries. The fact that the unharmed were 7 and 4 years old, respectively, serves as a reminder that blessings in life come in various shapes and sizes.

Patel was taken into custody on Monday at Stanford Hospital after being charged with attempted homicide and child abuse in connection with an event that authorities believed to be a murder-suicide. Before his capture, the situation was extensively inspected.
The California Highway Patrol made this accusation public on Tuesday. The state body declared, “CHP investigators worked throughout the night interviewing witnesses and gathering evidence from the scene. Based on the evidence collected, investigators developed probable cause to believe this incident was an intentional act.”
The organization disclosed that there “has been no determination as to what driving mode the Tesla was in.” However, they emphasized that the driving mode “does not appear to be a contributing factor in this incident.”
“This remains an ongoing investigation and no further information is being released at this time,” said the CHP.
Mr. and Mrs. Patel’s neighbors, who saw them as an honorable family deserving of respect, were horrified to learn of the claims made against them and shared Roger Newmark’s shock. “They’re the sweetest couple and they have the greatest two little kids.”
Patel will be transported directly to San Mateo County Jail after being released from the hospital and having completely recovered from his injuries.
