Renowned scientist Dr. Jay Bhattacharya recently visited Twitter HQ at the invitation of tech billionaire Elon Musk to talk about his involvement in a document that has generated international attention. The Great Barrington Declaration saw thousands of scientists call for policy reform against COVID lockdown measures.
Twitter made an effort to silence academics like Bhattacharya during the epidemic who questioned the necessity and seriousness of COVID lockdown measures. Nevertheless, despite efforts by social media behemoths to restrict him, he maintained a solid position in disputing public narratives.

Bhattacharya was put on an undesirable blacklist after publicly opposing lockdowns. He went onto Twitter in search of information because he was determined to learn the truth behind it.
“Thank you for your rigorous adherence to science,” Musk tweeted in reply to Bhattacharya.
“The professor was one of the leading voices who encouraged Musk last month to make public records of Twitter’s previous censorship regime,” Summit News noted.
In response to a tweet asking about how Twitter suppressed COVID information, Musk replied “Oh it is coming bigtime…”
Musk triggered leftists and Branch Covidians by tweeting “My pronouns are Prosecute/Fauci.”

Infectious diseases expert Bhattacharya has previously warned that “When you take a position that is at odds with the scientific clerisy, your life becomes a living hell.”
Speaking at the recent Academic Freedom Conference at Stanford’s Graduate School of Business, Bhattacharya, who previously described lockdowns as the most catastrophically harmful policy in “all of history,” and “the single worst public health mistake in the last 100 years,” noted “we have a high clerisy that declares from on high what is true and what is not true.”
He added that he has come to the conclusion that “academic freedom is dead.”
