Bill Maher has made his position unmistakably clear: He has no intention of apologizing for accepting another invitation to dine with President Donald Trump.
The HBO host returned to his program Real Time on October 23 and addressed the controversy surrounding his latest White House visit. Rather than offer an explanation designed to appease his critics, Maher responded with the kind of blunt language that has become a hallmark of his comedy.
“Yeah, I did it again, b*****s,” he told his audience.
Maher continued by explaining why he believes meeting Trump face-to-face is preferable to criticizing him from a distance.
