President Donald Trump is reportedly preparing to bring a familiar conservative television personality into one of the administration’s most visible positions, with former Department of Homeland Security official Katie Zacharia emerging as his choice for White House press secretary.
According to the New York Post, Zacharia has received an offer to take over the position previously held by Karoline Leavitt, who stepped away from the administration in August following the birth of her second child.
The reported decision could bring Zacharia back into the federal government just months after her departure from the Department of Homeland Security.
