Ford is taking a decidedly different approach to selling one of the less glamorous parts of vehicle ownership: getting your car or truck serviced.
Instead of putting a longtime automotive expert in front of the camera, the company has enlisted comedian Nate Bargatze, a performer whose entire brand is built around being remarkably ordinary.
The decision is no accident.
Ford unveiled its new advertising campaign, “Real Parts. Real Pros. Real Easy,” on September 28, 2026, with Bargatze serving as the campaign’s central personality. Rather than pretending to be a mechanic or presenting himself as some kind of automotive authority, Bargatze does exactly the opposite.
