The Trump administration has quietly built an international deportation system that has already moved more than 25,000 migrants out of the United States and into countries other than their nations of origin.
And the scale of the operation is now being documented by The Washington Post.
According to an extensive Post investigation published September 21, the administration has authorized or pledged at least $410 million to help secure arrangements involving 31 countries, primarily across Africa and Latin America.
