The political labels coming out of the major broadcast networks this weekend raised a question that deserves far more scrutiny: What exactly does “moderate Democrat” mean anymore?
On Sunday, ABC News anchor Martha Raddatz described a political landscape in which Democrats from both the “moderate” and progressive wings were celebrating victories at the ballot box.
“The moderate and progressive wings each scoring wins at the ballot box this week.”
