Vladimir Putin’s war effort was dealt another serious setback after a long-range Ukrainian drone attack reportedly struck a major Russian energy center hundreds of miles from the battlefield.
The attack hit Nizhnekamsk in Russia’s Tatarstan region, an industrial city roughly 750 miles from Ukraine and home to strategically important oil and petrochemical facilities.
Russian officials said 13 people were killed in the attack, including a child. Another 39 people were reportedly wounded.
