Ohio’s race for governor just received another major jolt.
Tech entrepreneur Elon Musk has reportedly committed $5 million to a political action committee supporting Republican gubernatorial candidate Vivek Ramaswamy, giving the former presidential contender even more momentum as he heads toward a highly anticipated showdown with Democrat Amy Acton.
The contribution adds to what has already become one of the most well-funded statewide campaigns in Ohio history. Ramaswamy, who secured the Republican nomination earlier this year, has spent months building a political operation designed to dominate both the airwaves and grassroots organizing efforts across the Buckeye State.
