The latest Capitol Hill confrontation involving Nancy Pelosi and an independent reporter has reignited questions about media double standards, press treatment, and the selective outrage often seen across corporate news networks.
At the same time, critics are pointing to the silence from major media figures, including Anderson Cooper and Jake Tapper, after Pelosi was caught on camera sharply dismissing a female journalist who attempted to question her about January 6.
The incident unfolded on Capitol Hill when LindellTV reporter Alison Steinberg approached Pelosi and pressed her on why the National Guard was not deployed sooner during the January 6, 2021 events. The exchange quickly escalated when Pelosi cut her off mid-question and fired back in unmistakably sharp language.
“I’ll tell you to shut up again because you’re speaking lies,” Pelosi snapped.
