Trump’s Biggest Win Yet? The Number Is 11

For years, Democrats treated redistricting like a weapon only they knew how to use. Now Republicans are turning the tables, and one new political analysis suggests the shift may be far larger than anyone in Washington expected.

According to a new breakdown from political analyst Ben Hart, Republicans could be on track for the largest mid-decade redistricting advantage in modern U.S. history, with the GOP potentially netting 11 additional House seats before a single 2026 vote is even cast.

That number is sending shockwaves through Democrat circles because House Minority Leader Hakeem Jeffries only needed a small handful of pickups to reclaim control of the chamber. Instead, Republicans appear to be redrawing the battlefield itself.

Hart’s analysis lays out a massive Republican advantage emerging across several states where legislatures have either already moved or are expected to move following recent legal developments.

The projected gains include Texas adding five Republican-friendly seats, Florida creating four more, Ohio delivering two, and additional GOP advantages coming out of North Carolina, Missouri, and Tennessee. Democrats, meanwhile, are expected to claw back some gains in California and Utah, but nowhere near enough to offset the Republican surge.
