A sitting member of Congress is sounding the alarm after reviewing highly classified material, warning that what the government knows about unidentified aerial phenomena could shake the country to its core if fully revealed.
Tim Burchett, a Republican lawmaker from Tennessee, says the information he has seen behind closed doors goes far beyond what the public has been told. After attending classified briefings with top federal agencies, Burchett is now openly questioning whether Americans are being deliberately kept in the dark.
According to Burchett, the gap between what officials say publicly and what is discussed privately is enormous. He described viewing classified images and video evidence that appear to show craft operating in ways that defy current scientific understanding. His reaction was blunt and unsettling.
“If they would release the things that I’ve seen, you’d be up at night worrying about or thinking about this stuff.”
That statement, delivered after direct exposure to classified intelligence, has fueled renewed debate over what the federal government actually knows about UFOs, now commonly referred to as UAPs.
