A sweeping new report from the Department of Justice is sending shockwaves through Washington, laying out allegations that the Biden administration used the power of the federal government to target anti-abortion activists while giving a pass to their ideological opponents.
The nearly 900-page document, released Tuesday, paints a deeply troubling picture of selective enforcement and political bias inside one of the nation’s most powerful institutions. According to the report, federal prosecutors under former President Joe Biden disproportionately pursued cases against pro-life Americans, raising serious questions about fairness, equal protection, and the integrity of the justice system.
At the center of the controversy is the Freedom of Access to Clinic Entrances Act, commonly known as the FACE Act. Originally designed to protect both abortion clinics and religious institutions from threats and disruptions, the law was allegedly applied unevenly. The report claims that pro-life activists were hit with aggressive prosecutions, while similar or even more severe actions from pro-abortion individuals were often minimized or ignored.
“This Department will not tolerate a two-tiered system of justice,” Acting Attorney General Todd Blanche said in response to the findings. “No Department should conduct selective prosecution based on beliefs. The weaponization that happened under the Biden Administration will not happen again, as we restore integrity to our prosecutorial system.”
