If there’s one thing every parent notices, it’s that the next generation faces challenges their elders could never have imagined. As a father of young children, I can’t help but feel concerned about what lies ahead for America — and a viral video circulating online only makes those worries worse.
In January, Savannah Craven, host of the conservative YouTube channel “Her Patriot Voice,” visited Coastal Carolina University to discuss one of the most contentious issues in America today: Immigration and Customs Enforcement, better known as ICE.
Unfortunately, what unfolded during her visit was less of a debate and more of a bewildering display of confused logic. The 30-minute video offers a glimpse into a campus environment that seems more interested in emotion than critical thinking — and one particular exchange stands out as a striking example.
At about 2:36 into the video, Craven is approached by a young, Black, female student with a loaded question: “Why would you say you support ICE?”
