Khamenei went further, ordering Gulf nations to remove American military forces from their territories. His remarks come amid a series of Iranian attacks across the Middle East, which officials say were in retaliation for the U.S.-led Operation Epic Fury.
The statement was read without Khamenei appearing publicly, fueling speculation about the leadership’s internal stability.
Fox News foreign correspondent Trey Yingst reported Thursday on “America’s Newsroom,” citing an Israeli intelligence source, that Mojtaba Khamenei sustained injuries during one of the opening strikes of Operation Epic Fury.
